Emilia E. Gomez, MD.
During the summer of 2006 Dr. Gomez and her husband relocated to city of Phoenix, AZ. It was during this time that Dr. Gomez met Dr. Garcia and began a very close friendship, a mentoring relationship.

In 2007 Dr. Gomez began her residency program at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center. During the residency program Dr. Gomez was part of several committees at St. Joes, She also worked with Community Programs to teach and educate the public in child obesity and other current health issues. Following the same passion of Dr. Garcia towards her patients, Dr. Gomez has the same commitment to the quality of health care provided to her patients. It is for this reason that Dr. Garcia has given the opportunity to Dr. Gomez to continue the wonderful service that Bethesda Pediatrics offers to their patients.
2010 The Walt Vikram Award
2010 Dr. Gomez passion towards her work lead her to win The Walt Vikram Troestor Memorial Scholarship Award for demonstrating exemplary compassion in the care of neonates.
Dr. Gomez favorite pass times are traveling and watching movies. She enjoys time with her husband and their new baby with Friday home movie nights. Her favorite time of the year is Christmas.
