Working & Living in a Unique Place, the Town of Queen Creek. Bethesda Pediatrics pledges to offer the best possible health care services to our patients.
It has been almost three years since Bethesda Pediatrics relocated to the Town of Queen Creek. A strategic move to grow with a local community, a community that embraces kind and passionate personal health care. Within this past two years, the Town of Queen Creek had to endure national and local economic change. Changes in our national leadership, changes that affect us all. Bethesda had to carry out our services through these turbulent economical and political changes.

Dr. Matilda C. Garcia has lead Bethesda Pediatrics to its current success. Believing that health care needs to be personal and accessible. Health care that is provided with compassion, kindness and above all, placing the patient health first. These are some of the trademarks that Dr. Garcia is known for and her patients and staff admire about her. With her leadership and her relentlessness to providing the best health care possible, her staff but follows her footsteps in the commitment and dedication to providing the best health care possible.
In the summer of 2006, Dr. Garcia met Dr. Emilia E. Gomez. A young physician about to start residency at St. Josephs Hospital. Dr. Garcia became Dr. Gomez’s mentor and friend through the 3 years of residency, creating and building a strong relationship. Dr. Garcia sees many of the characteristic of herself in Dr. Gomez. A doctor that places her patients health above all. A doctor that is compassionate, kind and genuinely cares about the people she sees. A doctor that enjoys the challenges of patient care, a doctor that will provide, with all her strengths, the best care possible to her patients.
There comes a moment when we all must make a lifelong decision, a difficult decision about our careers and businesses. Dr. Garcia has decided that she is ready for retirement. As she prepares for this life changing event, she thought of Dr. Gomez as the best candidate to leave her practice. Dr. Gomez is the individual who best possesses the ability to provide the same care as she does. Someone she can pass her baton to and know that her patients will be taken care of.
